A Shapestry begins with a line, and then starts making and breaking rules. In this time lapse painting, each line of the song brings a change in the Shapestry's rules

Put on your face

Know your place

Shut up and smile

Don't spread your legs

First there's a brush line, then 3, forming a face. Put on the red lipst.. and there's another face taking it over.  The faces aren't your own

The stroke become a line forming layers of rows. Follow the line

The faces return, but inverted, and frowning. But the red smiles, but it does not overpower the real shape - the frown

Don't spread your wings. No! take a strong stance to support yourself

I can do that

But no one knows me     no one ever will.

If I don't say something   if I just lie still.

Would I be that monster scare them all away.

If I let them hear           what I have to say?

The regimented lines return, holding back the wings from growing. But this time, the lines give support.

The brush billows out, interlocking and creating the idea of a cape. A Hero!

The brush strokes begin the forms of people, holding hands, forming the support structure of the wing.

Devil horns?.. or Angel wings? When we support each other, we grow wings. Scare them away with those lines under the arms.

Lines appear throughout the image to give support, reinforcing and preparing you to soar. To fly with your heart.

I Can't Keep Quiet

The structured lines burst out, but they yours now. And they give the form to the musical staff.

No-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

The notes are yours. Sing!

#icantkeepquiet

More lines sprouting up as the song carries.

A one woman riot

Not anymore! We join hands and stand on the support of the music. The musical staff forms continents, and the singers connect them! Sing!

I Can't Keep Quiet for anyone anymore

The song spreads, and begins to fade. But it has caught the wind. It still floats in hearts

But no one knows me      no one ever will

If I don't say something take that dry blue pill

They may see a monster they may run away.

But I have to do this

I Can't Keep Quiet

No-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

I Can't Keep Quiet

A One Woman riot

Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

I Can't Keep Quiet

Let it out Let it out now

Let it out now

There'll be someone who understands

Let it out Let it out now

Let it out now

I Can't Keep Quiet

Let it out Let it out now

Let it out now

I Can't Keep Quiet, Ooh-oo. No I won't keep Quiet

Momentum! The wind catches the song, spreading in all directions. Determined.

Eyes open and let it out. The wind spins in a current.

Devil horns at first, but as you keep looking, they become a Halo.

The Halo charges up to bursting. I have to do this.

The music is in your veins, the notes are your jewels

The music gives form to the body, giving it structure and support, and pumping blood through your veins

So much lifeforce, the heart expands to bursting

But still there's more! Feel your energy flow!

There's no containing it! The song comes bursting out

Let it out Now!

Others of all walks of life join you in the song

A musical stream of flags comes out from the heart, but upside down - in distress

When channeled through the support system of the angel wings, the flags rights itself.

Even when you put your foot down, it makes a song
