What are Rule(r)s? They're guidelines for  steps of the drawing. Take this pattern, for example. It begins with a Pentagon surrounded by regularly drawn Pentagons. From there, other rules develop, such as the width of lines, or gaps between shapes.  You don't have to stay bound to the Rule(r)s, but can explore the infinite possibilities.
